Domaine Thibault Liger Belair Nuits St Georges "Les Belles Croix" 2020, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from the Les Belles Croix lieu-dit (0.42ha, vines planted 1955) in Nuits-Saint-Georges on deep clay over limestone. The grapes are hand-harvested, partially destemmed (around 30% whole clusters retained), given a cold pre-fermentation maceration, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts followed by 3-4 weeks total cuvaison. Aged 18 months in oak barrels using 50% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show black cherry and dark plum along with violet and subtle earth notes. The palate delivers density and richness with firm tannic structure and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of powerful concentration and persistent depth reflecting the ripe yet structured vintage character in Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir.
