Royal Tokaji Blue Label Aszu 5 Puttonyos 2019, 500ml

This blend is composed of 71% Furmint, 24% Hárslevelű, 5% Sárgamuskotály. The individual Aszú berries were hand-picked and macerated in a fermenting must for two days. Following pressing, the wine fermented in stainless steel and then aged for over 24 months in 300-liter and 500-liter Hungarian oak casks. After the wood ageing was complete, the wine was blended and stayed in the bottle for 12 months of stabilization before release.

Tasting Note:

The nose features intense aromas of orange peel, ripe apricot, and exotic spices. The palate is rich and luscious, showing a perfect balance between high residual sugar and vibrant acidity, with layers of honey and candied citrus. The finish is long, clean, and elegant.
