The grapes come from the Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard in the Mosel region, known for its deep, weathered blue slate soils and steep slopes with a gradient of up to 70%. This vineyard benefits from optimal south-southwest exposure and the Mosel River's reflective heat, enhancing the wine's ripeness and complexity.
