Rathfinny Blanc de Blancs Brut 2018, 750ml

Single-site, single-vintage, grower-producer, this is 100% Chardonnay, aged for 30 months on its lees before release.
Fermentation: whole-bunched pressed, inoculated with commercial yeast, fermented in stainless steel tanks at 16°C.
Disgorged in May 2022. Dosage: 3g/l. Malolactic completed.

2018 Blanc de Blancs has a saline kick, influenced by the coastal vineyard location, situated just seven miles from the Seven Sisters Cliffs.

Tasting Note:

A lime-gold beading delivers a vibrant nose of mock orange and lemon thyme, a complex palate of fresh kiwi and candied kumquat zest, with a grapefruit sherbet finish.
