Caol Ila distilled in 2010 and bottled in July 2023. This whisky is part of the Connoisseurs Choice series and is aged for 12 years, initially in a refill bourbon barrel before being finished for one year in a Sassicaia cask. It is bottled at 45% ABV, 3900 bottles made. Batch #23/044

Tasting Note:

Nose: Rich aromas of Medjool dates, sweet cured meats, and pineapple.

Palate: Stewed red berries, complemented by demerara sugar and lemon zest.

Finish: Medium-bodied, spicy finish with lingering citrus peel and bonfire embers.
