Domaine Bernard Gripa Saint Joseph "Le Berceau" Rouge 2021, 750ml

100% Syrah, sourced from a one-hectare parcel of old vines, some up to 80 years old. The vineyards are situated on terraces of granite and gneiss.

The grapes undergo a cold maceration in steel tanks before fermentation. The vinification process is traditional, with the wine aging in barriques for 9 to 12 months before bottling. It is then aged in the bottle for an additional 12 months before release.

Tasting Note:

The powerful nose is showing black pepper, blackberries and subtle violet flavours. The taste is full-bodied and dense, with silky and firm tannins.
