Domaine Perrot Minot Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "La Richemone" Vignes Centenaires 2020, 750ml

Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru “La Richemone” Vignes Centenaires 2017 comes from a 0.57-hectare parcel planted in 1902, located in the southern part of the climat near Vosne-Romanée. The soil is a rare mix of limestone scree for drainage and deep rooting, combined with clay-limestone that contributes to structure and freshness. Grapes were fully destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, following a cold maceration. The wine was aged for 16–18 months in 20–30% new French oak barrels, without racking, fining, or filtration, and bottled by gravity.

Tasting Note:
Aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, licorice and spice on the nose. Firm attack. Intense concentration on the mid-palate with structured tannins and fresh acidity. The finish shows great length and 15-20 years of ageing potential.
