Domaine Jean Charles Rion Vosne Romanee "Les Hauts de Beaux Monts" 2022, 750ml

This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from the "Les Hauts de Beaux Monts" parcel, situated on the upper slope above the Echézeaux Grand Cru. The vineyard is characterized by shallow, stony limestone soils. The fruit was 100% destemmed and underwent a cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by 18 to 20 days of fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, with 50% new oak.

Tasting Note:

The nose is refined with aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry, and violets, accented by exotic spice. The palate is medium-bodied and graceful, showcasing a silky texture with concentrated red fruit and firm, fine-grained tannins. The finish is long and elegant with a lingering mineral freshness.
