Domaine Tinel Blondelet Sancerre Rouge 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir grown on 40-year-old vines planted in a millefeuille of flint and limestone soils in the commune of Thauvenay, one of the key terroirs of the Sancerre appellation. The wine was vinified using traditional methods, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks and ageing split between tank and barrel—approximately one-third matured in used French oak barrels that previously held two to three wines.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, it offers aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle spice. The palate is fresh and supple, with fine tannins and a mineral-driven finish. Overall, it’s a precise and elegant Sancerre Rouge that reflects its flinty terroir with clarity and finesse.
