Blandy's Verdelho "Colheita" Vintage Madeira 2011, 750ml

100% Verdelho from Santa do Porto Moniz and Raposeira, North coast, planted in soils volcanic soils, derived mainly from basalt, trachytes, tufa, slag and conglomerates.

Aged in a “canteiro” system, in 650 L casks at room temperature until the month of bottling.

Tasting Note:

Characteristic bouquet with good intensity, with notes of dried and candied fruits like apricot. Volatile on the nose, iodised and brandy notes linger.
The palate is medium-dry, leaving many saline notes with a long finish reminiscent of exotic fruit chutney like mango with spices.

Residual sugar 80g/l.
