100% Pinot Noir from old vines in Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru. Organic Certified. Grapes were hand-harvested, rigorously sorted, and vinified with partial whole cluster inclusion (approximately 30–40%), depending on ripeness. Fermentation was carried out with native yeasts, and the wine was aged for about 18 months in French oak barrels, with 20–25% new oak, carefully balanced to preserve terroir transparency while adding structure and aromatic complexity.
Tasting Note:
The 2022 Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru is dark and brooding, with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, licorice, and spice, layered with earthy and mineral notes. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with dense fruit, firm acidity, and muscular tannins. A long, mineral-driven finish underscores its power and age-worthiness, with whole cluster inclusion adding aromatic lift and subtle herbal complexity.
