Jean Baptiste Jessiaume Santenay "La Forge" Rouge 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from 0.60 hectares of calcareous clay on east to south-facing slopes, ranging from 300 to 500 meters in altitude. The vineyard features a mix of grey limestone, oolitic layers, marl, and limestone kidneys. Vatted for 30 days and aged 15 months in oak barrels, with 10% new oak, for depth and balance.

Tasting Note:

Red and dark fruit aromas – redcurrant, raspberry, blueberry – as well as floral – violet. Precise on the palate, with a wide aromatic range and a great persistence.
