Bertinga 2017, 1.5L

The quintessential Super Tuscan and the faithful expression of its unique terroir.

100% from the Bertinga vineyard, planted in Albarese soil composed of predominantly calcareous marl, clay and sedimentary rocks.

This is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 50% Merlot. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats and concrete tanks. Aged in Austrian oak tonneaux and French oak barriques (10% new) for 18 months in the temperature-controlled cellar. Bottle aged for 18 months prior to release.

Tasting note:

Brilliant purple-red in colour, the nose is expressed with aromas of ripe black fruits, enriched by vegetal, spicy and aromatic herb notes. The sip is soft and powerful, with well-integrated thick tannins.
