Distilled in 1987 and bottled on January 17, 2023 at 56.9% ABV, this Orkney single malt was matured for 35 years in a refill bourbon barrel (Cask #21604501), yielding 131 bottles. It is non-chill filtered and bottled without added colour. The whisky belongs to Batch 23/019 and reflects Gordon & MacPhail’s dedication to long-term maturation and regional expression through carefully selected casks.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, the whisky opens with apple, citrus, and warming spice. The palate is sweet yet spicy, showing intense orange, ripe orchard fruits, and subtle oak.
