Fabio Oberto Barolo 2021, 750ml

100% Nebbiolo from younger vines (15-25 years) in multiple crus in La Morra, principally Annunziata and Capalot, on Tortonian blue marl and calcareous clay soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, crushed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel with 20-25 days maceration and daily pump-overs. Malolactic completed. Aged 24 months in large Slavonian oak botti (30-50hl) with a small proportion of used barriques.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show red cherry and rose petal along with tar and balsamic notes. The palate delivers medium body and tension with firm tannic structure and bright acidity. Overall impression is one of classic elegance and persistent clarity reflecting the fresh vintage character in La Morra Barolo
