Domaine Perrot Minot Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru 2019, 750ml is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
100% Pinot Noir sourced from 50–55-year-old vines planted mid-slope in the Clos de Bèze climat of Gevrey-Chambertin, at 270–280 meters altitude. The soil is composed of Bajocian crinoidal limestone and marl, with a substratum of limestone scree and silt. Fermentation was carried out using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, with partial whole-cluster inclusion depending on vintage conditions; in 2018, a portion of the fruit was fermented with stems. The wine was aged for approximately 16–18 months in French oak barrels, with a restrained use of new oak, under 30%. (Maison wine)
Tasting Note:
Aromas of black cherry, dark fruit, rose, licorice and spice on the nose. Powerful attack. Concentrated fruit on the mid-palate with structured tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish shows great length and 20+ years of ageing potential.
