Domaine Matrot Bourgogne Chardonnay 2020, 750ml

Chardonnay planted in clay limestone soils. Grapes were hand harvested gently pressed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats using indigenous yeast. The wine was aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels with approximately 15% new oak to add subtle texture while preserving freshness and fruit purity.

Tasting Note:

The nose shows aromas of citrus white flowers and green apple with a hint of hazelnut. The palate is dry and balanced with lively acidity layered citrus fruit and a clean mineral finish. Overall it offers a precise and elegant expression of Bourgogne Chardonnay with clarity and finesse
