Domaine Jean Charles Rion Cote de Nuits Villages Rouge 2021, 750ml

Sourced from two parcels totaling 1 hectare near Comblanchien and Prémeaux-Prissey, with limestone-rich, pebbly scree and silty-clay soils. 100% Pinot Noir, the grapes were 50% destemmed, fermented with native yeasts in open stainless steel vats, and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% new.

Tasting Note

Aromas of red cherry, strawberry, and a hint of spice with a faint earthy note. On the palate, it offers a light to medium body, crisp acidity, and soft tannins, with bright fruit flavors and a touch of minerality. The overall impression is fresh and approachable.
