Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot Macon-Cruzille Rouge 2021, 750ml

New to the portfolio, this Mâcon-Cruzille comes from a 100% Gamay vineyard planted in 2000 with an eastern exposure at an altitude of 310m on clay soil rich in limestone. Hand-harvested, destemmed and fermented for 21 days in stainless steel and then 13 months in barrels of various sizes, 30% of which are new.

Aromas of red fruits, cherries and plums, a light floral touch, with spices and herbs. In the mouth it is spicy, but light, fresh and with fine tannins.
