Domaine Jean Charles Rion Vosne Romanee 1er Cru "Les Beaux Monts" 2021, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from the Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru vineyard in Vosne-Romanée, situated on the upper mid-slope above Les Suchots, where thin limestone soils over marl provide excellent drainage and mineral tension. Fully destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in open-top stainless steel vats, followed by a maceration period of approximately 15 to 21 days. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, some new.

Tasting Note:

The nose opens with layered aromas of black cherry, wild raspberry, and crushed rose petals, accented by hints of clove, graphite, and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is elegant and finely textured, with silky tannins and bright acidity carrying flavors of dark berry, blood orange, and subtle spice. The finish is long and graceful, marked by mineral tension and a whisper of oak.
