Domaine Jean Charles Rion Vosne Romanee "Les Hauts de Beaux Monts" 2021, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from the Les Hauts de Beaux Monts lieu-dit in Vosne-Romanée, located on the upper slope of the Beaux Monts climat, with shallow limestone soils and good drainage. Fully destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in open-top stainless steel vats, followed by a maceration period of approximately 15 to 21 days. Aged for 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels, with a modest proportion of new oak to preserve site transparency.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, and dried rose are joined by hints of spice and crushed stone. The palate is silky and precise, with fine tannins and fresh acidity supporting flavors of raspberry, redcurrant, and a touch of savory earth.
