Domaine de la Garenne Pouilly Fuisse 2021, 750ml

100% Chardonnay from La Ruère and Le Moule totaling around 1ha planted in clay-limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, pneumatically pressed, and cold settled before alcoholic fermentations with indigenous yeasts. Malolactic completed. Aged entirely in oak barrels using 30% new wood, followed by 12 months ageing in the same barrels.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show yellow fruits including mango and peach along with sage notes. The palate delivers volume and intensity with mineral structure and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of balanced richness and persistent length reflecting the vintage character in southern Burgundy Chardonnay.
