Domaine Chevillon Chezeaux Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits Rouge 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from 0.63ha divided in 2 parcels in Les Toppes and La Croix de Beaune, at 280 to 300m of altitude. Planted in chalk soils from the Jurassic period. Age of the vines: 30 years old.

The grapes are 100% destemmed and lightly crushed, followed by a pre-fermentation, cold maceration of 7 days, and fermentation with punch downs and pump overs. The wine is pressed and transferred to barrels by gravity, and ages for 12 months in neutral oak barrels.

Tasting Note:

Bright red in hue and fresh fragrant, with notes of fresh red fruit such as raspberry and cherry. The taste is elegant, smooth and fresh.
