Domaine Laurent Roumier Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits "La Poirelotte" 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir grown in a high-altitude parcel above Chambolle-Musigny, planted between the 1970s and 2000 on limestone-rich soils. The grapes were entirely destemmed and fermented in concrete vats using natural yeasts, with daily pumping over and punching down during a 15-day maceration. No new oak was used for this cuvée, and ageing took place in used Rousseau cooperage barrels for 15 to 18 months.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, the wine shows lifted aromas of bramble and spice. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with fine tannins and a long, clean finish. Overall, it’s a precise and expressive wine that reflects its cool-climate origin and traditional vinification.
