Chateau Belair Coubet 2018, 750ml

Château Belair Coubet, is a 45-hectare Côtes de Bourg estate and the flagship of Vignobles Faure led by Delphine Faure.

The blend is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from 40-year-old vines, fermentated in thermoregulated tanks, and aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.

The vines grow in limestone-clay soil using integrated viticulture and sustainable soil practices.

Tasting Note:

The wine shows an endearing nose mingling black berry fruits, notes of liquorice and scents of vanilla. Presenting a full palate with refined, polished and well-intergrated tannins, and a very fresh savoury mid-palate. Vanilla aromas from the oak are still upfront, while the after-taste is long with beautiful tannins which shows all the potential of this wine.
