Chateau Tour Neuve 2019, 750ml

Château Tour Neuve, a small Côtes de Bourg estate acquired in the 1970s, produces wines from a recently replanted 10-year-old vineyard.

The blend is 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, with cold maceration, fermentation in thermoregulated tanks, soft vatting for three weeks with daily pump-overs, and aging for 11 months mostly in stainless steel, with some French oak. The vines grow in clay-limestone soil using sustainable viticulture.

Tasting Note:

This medium to full-bodied wine reveals a beautiful ruby colour with purple reflections. Intense nose of red and black fruit with hints of vanilla. Powerful on the palate, with dark fruit, earthy tones, hints of chocolate and long finish.
