Tyrrell's Old Winery Chardonnay 2024, 750ml

100% Chardonnay sourced from vineyards in the Hunter Valley, where volcanic soils and warm days contribute to ripe fruit expression. Grapes were harvested slightly early to retain natural acidity and freshness, then cold fermented in stainless steel tanks. Approximately 50% of the blend was matured in French oak for five months, while the remainder remained in tank on yeast lees to build texture and complexity. The wine underwent no malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show stone fruit and subtle vanillin oak. The palate is medium-bodied and clean, with white peach and citrus flavours supported by a crisp acidity, finishing with freshness and balance.
