Liquoristerie de Provence Versinthe La Blanche Absinthe, 500ml

Absinthe is a distilled spirit used as a base for many cocktails.

It's produced using a low-temperature technique from perfume-making that captures the finest plant aromas. It was consumed in ancient Egypt for medicinal purposes and gained popularity among 19th-century artists and intellectuals.

Absinthe was prohibited in 1915 but was relaunched in 1999 by the Liquoristerie de Provence as Versinthe "Absinthe Plants Liquor".

About Liquoriste de Provence:

Born from the idea of Pascal Rolland to revive a whole range of aniseed, absinthe and Provençal liqueurs of the past with so particular scents and flavours, the Liquoristerie de Provence is taken over by Renaud and Adeline de Barry in 2017.
