Hombo Shuzo Kisyogura Sweet Potato Shochu, 720ml
Hombo Shuzo is a Japanese distillery known for making various alcoholic beverages, including shochu and whisky. Established in 1872, it's based in Yamanashi Prefecture. They're famous for their "Mars Whisky," well-regarded both in Japan and internationally.
The distillery also produces shochu, a traditional Japanese spirit made from ingredients like barley and sweet potatoes.
Kishogura is an authentic sweet potato shochu with a rich aroma.
Made using black malted rice and brewed in a kame-tsubo (earthenware pot), it follows the traditional Satsuma sweet potato shochu production method.
The malted rice is black, sourced from "Kogane Sengan" sweet potatoes in Minami-Satsuma. Brewed at Tsunuki Kisho Kura, the birthplace of Hombo Shuzo brewery, it has a unique and complex aroma achieved through the kame-tsubo brewing method.
Each drop offers a soft blend of umami and an elegant aroma, making it a confident creation with a lingering aftertaste.
