Rhum J.M Rhum Agricole "Fumee Volcanique", 700ml

Fumée Volcanique is a distinctive rum agricole from Martinique, crafted from sugarcane grown in volcanic soil. Distilled in a Creole column and aged for 12-14 months in ex-Bourbon barrels with extreme char treatment, it has a bold 49% ABV.

Tasting Note:

Aromas : sweet and captivating with notes of salted caramel and powerful smokiness. When stirred, the aromatic profile of white rhum agricole resurfaces with fresh aromas of lime, cane flower, honey and star anise.

Palate : marked by the smoothness and volume of the smoky notes. Honey, star anise and empyreumatic notes provide a nice texture.
