Appleton Estate 21 Years Jamaica Rum, 700ml
The rums that make up the 21 year old Nassau Valley Casks are hand selected and crafted with Jamaican limestone-filtered water, and have all been aged for a minimum of 21 years in American white oak bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of Jamaica.
Several varieties of sugar cane are cultivated at the Estate and gives Appleton rums its distinctive complex flavors and aromas. The molasses is diluted with limestone-filtered water, giving a soft taste to the rum, without imparting any flavor. For fermentation a proprietary non GMO yeast strain is used. Finally the fermented molasses is distilled in combination of traditional copper pot still and column still. The rum is then aged american white oak bourbon barrels.
Tasting Note:
