Domaine Francois Carillon Bourgogne Aligote 2020, 750ml

The grapes come from Puligny-Montrachet and Corpeau, and are from the superior clone Aligoté Dore. From vines over 50 years old, the grapes are fermented directly in barrels, aged for nearly a year like the Premiers Crus in 10% new oak.

Tasting Note:

Outstanding nose, glorious in the range of flavors and feeling of perfectly judged ripeness. One year in 500-liter barrels, just a tiny touch of toast adds something. Fresh citrus and plum, complex, balanced, and very long.
