Domaine Thibault Liger Belair Moulin a Vent "La Roche" 2018, 750ml

This 2.25-hectare plot, planted between 1920 and 1945, is considered by Thibault to be the most beautiful parcel of the domain. It is located at the top of the hill, about 30 meters from the windmill, where pink granite rock outcrops. The soil is 20 to 30 cm deep, with pink and white sand.

The grapes are harvested by hand, with 30% whole clusters used. Fermentation lasts for three weeks with very moderate intervention. The wine is aged for 18 months, with 20% in new barrels.

Tasting Note:

Notes of dried rose petals, black fruits and soft spices are subtly revealed. The first impression in mouth is fleshy but can wait 3-4 years tannins can more silky and delicate.
