Domaine Lignier Michelot Gevrey Chambertin "Cuvee Bertin" 2018, 750ml

This Gevrey-Chambertin is a blend of 3 climats: Sevrey, Murots and Creux-Brouillard, covering an area of one hectare. This cuvée is vinified from 100% whole clusters to get as close as possible to the Gevrey terroir, while remaining powerful and delicious. Over 3,200 bottles are produced each year.

Tasting Note:

Aromas with powerful black cherry and cassis fruit. It manages to retain fine delineation but leans more towards the hedonistic side of the pleasure spectrum. The palate is medium-bodied with candied red fruit laced with marmalade and allspice on the entry. Fine grip, quite irony towards the finish with a gamey aftertaste.
