Domaine Lignier Michelot Chambolle Musigny V.V. 2019, 750ml

These vines, over 60 years old, are located on the Draseys and Gammaires parcels, north of Chambolle-Musigny. This 6,000-bottle cuvée is made with 70% whole clusters. It represents the northern side of the Chambolle-Musigny appellation and has characteristics similar to those of neighbouring Morey-Saint-Denis. It is a deep wine with lovely tannins.

Tasting Note

Pretty floral and ripe aromas of plum liqueur and various dark berries. The delicious medium-weight flavours possess a caressing, indeed almost creamy mid-palate, that is highly seductive, all wrapped in a youthfully austere, mineral-driven, and refreshing finale.
