It is a blend of climats representing just over 6,000 bottles, fermented with 50% whole clusters and aged in 30% new barrels for 12 months, followed by 4 months in stainless steel vats.
Tasting Note:
Mostly from sub-Chambolle vines plus a whisker in Vougeot, Morey and Premeaux. The Chambolle vines are Bons Batons and Au Pelson, ex David Clark. Bright dense red purple, with a deep sweet succulent fruit. Tense fresh fruit with some opulence. Quite high acidity as well.
