Domaine Bernard Gripa Saint Joseph Blanc 2023, 750ml

80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, this wine comes from 40-year-old vines grown in limestone soil with a granite base. Peachy with a hint of acacia, it boasts a lovely purity. The grapes undergo a cold maceration in steel tanks before fermentation.

The vinification is traditional, and the wine is aged in 100% in oak, primarily in 6-7 year old 600-liter demi-muids for eight to nine months before bottling. Full malolactic fermentation is completed.

Tasting Note:

Delicate notes of quince, pear, and subtle hazelnut. It has a lovely richness on the palate, which is powerful and shows noble bitter notes. The wine is full-bodied yet fresh, with good acidity and a mineral finish.
