Yannick Amirault St Nicolas de Bourgueil "La Mine" Rouge 2021, 750ml

This plot of clay gravel is located at the foot of the "Les Malgagnes" hillside. The 45-year-old vines exhibit great resilience and consistent quality. The vineyard features natural grass cover and tillage under the rows.

The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo double sorting with destalking (no crushing). Alcoholic fermentation takes place in a cone oak vat with a soft skin maceration period of 4-5 weeks. The wine is elegantly aged for 7 months in oak vats.

Tasting Note:

The 2021 La Mine distinguishes itself with typical redcurrant/cranberry snap, along with notes of bay leaf, salvia and cigar wrapper leaf. Superb!
