Chateau Siaurac 2018, 750ml

Blend of 80% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Malbec from 46ha of gravel and clay soils in Néac within the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. The grapes are hand-harvested, sorted, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in a combination of concrete and stainless steel vats. Malolactic completed. Aged 14 months in French oak barrels using 25% new wood.
Tasting Note:
Aromas show black cherry and plum along with spice and earth notes. The palate delivers density and succulence with firm tannic structure and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of ripe intensity and long persistence reflecting the warm vintage character in Right Bank Bordeaux.
