Chateau Talbot 2020, 1.5L

Château Talbot 2020 is a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot, sourced from 102 hectares of gravelly soils in Saint-Julien planted at 7,700 vines per hectare. The vines average 43 years of age. Grapes were manually harvested between September 11 and October 1, sorted both manually and optically, and fermented in oak vats using indigenous yeasts. The wine was aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, 60% of which were new.

Tasting Note:

Aromas include cassis, ripe blackberry, tobacco, and cedar. The palate is creamy and precise, with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, structured finish. Overall, the wine is polished and expressive, showing depth and balance with classic Saint-Julien character
