The quintessential Super Tuscan and the faithful expression of its unique terroir.

100% from the Bertinga vineyard, planted in Albarese soil composed of predominantly calcareous marl, clay and sedimentary rocks.

This is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 50% Merlot. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats and concrete tanks. Aged in Austrian oak tonneaux and French oak barriques (10% new) for 18 months in the temperature-controlled cellar. Bottle aged for 18 months prior to release.

Tasting Note:

On the nose fascinating notes of red fruit and small black berry fruit are integrated with spices, undergrowth and mineral notes. Full-bodied and structured wine with a dense and important tannic texture. The sip is taut, beautiful opening in the center of the mouth and a finish of great freshness and persistence.
