Les Curiosites de Laubade "Le Plant de Graisse" Bas Armagnac, 500ml
Released in late September 2019 the limited-edition "Le Plant de Graisse", is distilled from the rare Plant de Graisse grape, harvested in 2006 from a 1.45-hectare estate parcel, and aged for 12 years in 430-liter Gascony oak barrels. It undergoes no additional finishing, preserving the grape’s unique character, and is bottled at 46.3% ABV in 364 numbered 50cl bottles for sale.
Tasting Note:
The color is amber with mahogany highlights. On the nose, notes of quince and dried fruits and candied fruits blend harmoniously with notes of rancio, typical of a low Armagnac entering maturity . The palate is rich, powerful, but suave at the same time, presenting a beautiful amplitude on the finish .
