Saint Reol Grand Cru Brut 2012, 750ml

Sourced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards centered around Ambonnay in the Montagne de Reims. A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, hand-harvested grapes undergo initial primary fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine ages on fine lees in deep chalk cellars for over 8 years prior to disgorgement with a dosage of 8 g/L. 

Tasting Note:

Aromas of fresh lemon curd, yellow apple, and ripe white peach blend with elegant notes of white summer flowers, toasted brioche, fresh pastry, and a touch of wild honey. The palate is dry, generous, and well-structured, featuring a silky, fine-integrated mousse and a vibrant core of citrus and orchard fruit balanced by firm acidity and chalky minerality. The finish is long, clean, and harmoniously balanced.
