Mount Riley Pinot Noir 2023, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from the Brookby Road vineyard in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys sub-region, where diverse clones are planted on alluvial soils. The grapes were cold soaked and fermented in small parcels. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel, followed by ageing for 7 to 9 months in French oak barriques, a portion of which were new.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, it shows ripe cherry, plum, and dried herbs with subtle spice. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, with soft tannins, vibrant fruit, and a long, balanced finish. Overall, it is a varietally pure and approachable Marlborough Pinot Noir shaped by careful clonal selection and restrained oak maturation.
