Graham's Crusted Port 2013, 750ml

Graham’s Crusted Port Bottled 2013 is a blend of wines from multiple harvests drawn primarily from Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta das Lages with smaller lots from Quinta do Tua and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas, all in the Douro on schist soils. Grapes are hand sorted, gently destemmed and fermented in lagares, the wine is then matured up to two years in seasoned oak casks, bottled unfiltered, and aged a further three to four years in bottle at Vila Nova de Gaia before release, finishing at 20% ABV. Residual sugar between 80-90g/l.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of wild berry and eucalyptus with blackberry and a touch of liquorice. Palate is concentrated with ripe black fruit, fine peppery tannins and good freshness. Overall impression is of purity of fruit, firm structure and length from extended bottle ageing.
