Domaine Francois Carillon Puligny Montrachet 2022, 750ml

100% Chardonnay from multiple village-level parcels in Puligny-Montrachet (including Les Enseignères, Les Houlières, and others) on calcareous clay and limestone soils, vines averaging 40-50 years. The grapes are hand-harvested, pneumatically pressed whole cluster, and cold settled before alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels. Malolactic completed. Aged 12 months in oak barrels using 20% new wood followed by 6 months in stainless
steel.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show lemon zest and white peach along with hazelnut and wet stone notes. The palate delivers medium body and tension with fine mineral structure and vibrant acidity. Overall impression is one of precise elegance and persistent clarity reflecting the sunny yet balanced vintage character in Côte de Beaune Chardonnay.
