Domaine Jean-Charles Rion Bourgogne Cote d'Or 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from parcels in Premeaux-Prissey and Comblanchien on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested with rigorous sorting, fully destemmed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open stainless steel vats after cold maceration, followed by 15-21 days total maceration. Aged 12 months in oak barrels using around 20% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show red cherry and raspberry along with light floral and spice notes. The palate delivers freshness and medium body with supple texture and vibrant acidity. Overall impression is one of bright elegance and easy persistence reflecting the sunny yet balanced vintage character in Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir.
