Domaine Perrot Minot Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "La Richemone" Vignes Centenaires 2018, 750ml

Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru “La Richemone” Vignes Centenaires 2017 comes from a 0.57-hectare parcel planted in 1902, located in the southern part of the climat near Vosne-Romanée. The soil is a rare mix of limestone scree for drainage and deep rooting, combined with clay-limestone that contributes to structure and freshness. Grapes were fully destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, following a cold maceration. The wine was aged for 16–18 months in 20–30% new French oak barrels, without racking, fining, or filtration, and bottled by gravity.

Tasting Note:

Ruby red with purplish reflections. Aromas of black fruits and red fruits with musky and undergrowth notes. Beautiful truffle and roasted notes are delicately added gradually in the glass. On the palate, the wine is exquisitely rounded, with a creamy structure and fine, silky tannins.
