Domaine Guy Amiot Bourgogne Pinot Noir "Cuvee Simone" 2021, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir grown on a 1-hectare parcel located partly in Remigny and partly at the foot of the Chassagne-Montrachet hillside, bordering Puligny-Montrachet and Corpeau. The vines are 45 years old and planted on deep clay-limestone soils with southern exposure. Grapes were manually harvested and fully destemmed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks using native yeasts. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, with approximately 20% new oak.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle earthy notes. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a clean, mineral finish. Overall, the wine is elegant and balanced, reflecting the finesse of its terroir and restrained oak use.
