Domaine Jean-Marc Bouley Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune 2018, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from high-elevation parcels (around 400m) in Pommard and Volnay communes on limestone-rich soils with thin topsoil. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, given a short cold maceration, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts followed by 15-18 days total cuvaison. Aged 12-14 months in oak barrels using around 20% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show red cherry and wild raspberry along with earth and light spice notes. The palate delivers medium body and freshness with fine tannic structure and bright acidity. Overall impression is one of pure elegance and persistent clarity reflecting the cool structured vintage character in Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir.
